Job Summary
The Purchasing Manager is responsible for planning and managing the procurement of materials, products, and services required by the company, ensuring their availability with the required quality and at the best possible prices. The role includes selecting suppliers, negotiating with them, managing contracts and purchase orders, and ensuring compliance with the approved budget and policies. The Purchasing Manager also works on improving the efficiency of procurement processes, monitoring inventory levels, and building strategic relationships with suppliers to support business continuity and achieve the company’s objectives.
Responsibilities
